Deliverables

Non-Linear Cinematic Edit

Non-linear cinematic edits vary in length, it all comes down to the content we have at the end of the day. The cinematic edit incorporates speeches to drive the story of the couple and their wedding day. It is shorter than your typical documentary edit yet it still captures the most important parts of the wedding day and incorporates them into an immersive experience. This type of edit also called short-form edit/creative film is less concerned with a linear timeline and more intent on capturing the overall themes and emotions of your wedding day.

Chronological Full Documentary Edit

A documentary-style wedding video, also known as a journalistic approach, essentially gives you a play-by-play of the entire wedding. It is typically shown in chronological order and edited to keep the audience engaged. This is the traditional approach for wedding videos, so it can capture all of the special moments of the day. Even though this is a documentary style of editing there is a bit of a cinematic approach during the shooting with multiple angles to give it a different perspective. With documentary edit, you will never miss that moment. You will end up with a video that documents your wedding from the morning preparation through to the evening reception.

Samples available upon request.

Chronological/Non-Linear Highlight Edit

Highlight edits are usually 3-5 minutes run time depending on the music of choice. Highlight videos seek to tell your wedding day in chronological order/non-linear, starting from the moment the couple begins their preparation to the end of the day. Couples tend to lean towards the highlight because they can easily be shared with their family and friends via social media. It is a great way to sum up your wedding day into one small video for everyone to enjoy.

Next Day Edit

A next day edit is similar to a highlight video but shown at your reception within a span of the next day to a week. It is a great way to showcase your wedding to your friends and family at your reception. You can also share this 3-5 minute video on social media for friends and family abroad. Next Day Edit (NDE) are very popular for South Asian weddings with multiple wedding events and dates.

Same Day Edit

The same day edit is a recap of your wedding screened at your evening reception the same day as your wedding. A same-day edit or SDE for short is a cinematic mini-documentary that tells the story of the wedding day as it unfolds from the bride and groom’s perspective. It includes footage from all of the intimate moments of your event, including the pre-ceremony preparations, ceremony, post-ceremony and first dance. The editing is done on the same day on site, usually within few hours into the reception. It is a great way to “wow” your guests who were unable to attend the ceremony.
